Air Fryer Mushrooms
Ingredients
- 7 oz 200 grams chestnut mushrooms
- 2 tsp vegetable oil
- 2 tsp low sodium soy sauce or tamari sauce
- 1 sprig rosemary
- ½ tsp salt and pepper
Instructions
- Cut the mushrooms into thick slices, cut each into 2 halves but if it’s too big then cut into smaller pieces. Try to make the size of the slices even so everything cooks evenly.
- In a white bowl, toss the mushrooms with the rest of the ingredients so everything is well coated in soy, oil, and seasonings.
- No need to preheat the Air Fryer. Place the mushrooms directly into the Air Fryer basket, and cook at 356F for about 15 minutes flipping halfway through.
- Open the Air Fryer basket and check every 5 minutes, shake the basket and decide how much longer you would like to cook the mushrooms for.
- The mushrooms should be cooked well, but not dried out or burnt. So make sure not to overcook them.
- Serve with some extra sea salt flakes, and red chili flakes if desired.
